Service Engineer — Air Insulated Switchgear & Generator Circuit Breaker (f/m/d)

Join Hitachi Energy’s high‑voltage service team. We need skilled electrical engineers or technicians to support the energy transition in Germany.

In this role you will work hands‑on with AIS, GIS, and GCB technologies, receive comprehensive training and certifications, and become an expert within our organization.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• You will be trained as our site manager and are responsible for maintenance and repairs.
• You represent us as the most important contact person on the construction site.
• You provide our customers and colleagues with advice and support and coordinate internal and external partners.
• You get to know our products and carry out briefings during acceptance inspections.
• Safety is very important to you.
• If you identify potential for improvement, don’t hesitate to get actively involved.

Your background

• Completed technical education or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Ideally, practical experience in installation, commissioning, or service.
• Willingness to travel for assignments from your German home base.
• Valid driving licence.
• German language skills (B2) or commitment to achieve B2 before start (language course funded by us).
• Residence in Germany required (we support relocation and family integration).
• For freelancers: valid work permit and ability to invoice in Germany.
