Join an international cloud and engineering consultancy as a Senior .NET developer working on a project for a global analytics and technology company in the risk and insurance space. You will develop and maintain backend services in a modern cloud environment, with a strong focus on AWS, infrastructure as code and CI/CD automation. The initial contract is for 6 months, with a strong chance of continuation or reallocation to new projects. Work is 100% remote, with a preferred start as soon as possible (ideally no later than early April).
Key responsibilities:
Develop and maintain backend services in .NET running in a cloud environment (mainly AWS: serverless services, queues, event‑driven components, data stores).
Design and implement backend business logic and integrations between systems and external services.
Co‑create and maintain engineering platform components, including infrastructure as code (Terraform, AWS SAM) and CI/CD pipelines based on GitHub Actions.
Own complex backend problems, propose and deliver robust, scalable, and secure solutions.
Work with authentication and authorization flows; experience with Okta or similar identity solutions is a plus.
Collaborate closely with international team members in a fully English‑speaking environment and actively contribute to design and technical decisions.
Ideal candidate profile:
Strong, proven experience as a .NET backend developer (REST services, integrations, clean code, testing).
Solid experience with AWS (Lambda, queues, event‑driven patterns, data stores)
Good understanding of serverless architectures, messaging and event‑driven design (e.g. AWS Lambda, SQS, SNS).
Hands‑on experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform and/or AWS SAM).
Practical experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
Ability to work independently, solve complex technical issues, and communicate clearly in distributed teams.
Comfortable working 100% in English with international teams (primarily UK‑based).
Availability to start ASAP, ideally no later than early April.

Type of cooperation: B2B contract
Initial contract length: 6 months, with intention to extend or move you to another project for top performers.
Rate: 140 - 170 PLN/h
Work model: 100% remote from any location in Poland
Recruitment steps:

Interview with Client: Introductory conversation with the delivery team: review of your experience vs project needs, light technical questions, and verification of your comfort in a fully English‑speaking, international environment.
Final technical interview with Client: in‑depth technical questions, possibly practical task to see how you think, ask questions, and structure solutions.
