As a Senior .NET Developer you will be working for our client, one of the leaders in online banking, on migrating existing applications from .NET 4.5-4.8 to .NET Core and hosting them in Kubernetes. You will be responsible for ensuring the seamless transition of these applications, optimizing performance, and collaborating with various teams to align with best practices in modern cloud-based architectures. This role will provide you with the opportunity to work on a challenging project while contributing to the digital transformation of a well-established financial institution.
Łódź based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 days in the office/month).
responsibilities :
Migrate existing banking applications from .NET Framework (4.5 and 4.8) to .NET Core
Host migrated applications on Kubernetes
Handling the full migration and deployment process
Collaborate with other developers and teams to ensure best practices
Utilize C# and .NET Core to develop high-quality code
Optimize performance and reliability of migrated applications
Work with MS SQL databases to support application functionality
Contribute to the design and architecture of cloud-based solutions (Azure is preferred)
Share knowledge and provide guidance on cloud-native development
Explore and integrate modern technologies into the migration process
requirements-expected :
Senior-level knowledge of C# and .NET Core
Strong understanding of Kubernetes for hosting applications
Solid experience with MS SQL databases
Practical knowledge of cloud-based solutions (Azure is preferred)
Experience with migrating applications to .NET Core and deploy them on Kubernetes
Familiarity with legacy .NET Framework versions (4.5 - 4.8)
Strong problem-solving and performance optimization skills
