Our technology partner (manufacturing company from Switzerland) has been relying on a proprietary Product Data Management (PDM) system for over 16 years, which serves as the digital backbone of the company. This system supports all core business processes—ranging from HR, materials management, and production, to quality assurance and warehouse automation—and is actively used by approximately 1,000 employees across 7 global locations. To secure the future of the PDM platform, they are expanding its development team to maintain the existing system and migrate it into a modern web-based application over the next 2–3 years. ?
Your Role:
As a Senior .NET Developer, you will be actively involved in both maintaining the legacy system and contributing to the development of its modern web-based successor. You will work closely with a long-standing lead developer who will provide onboarding and mentoring. The position requires strong analytical skills, initiative, and the ability to work independently in a highly complex codebase with limited documentation. ?

responsibilities :

Maintain and extend existing Windows Forms applications in C# using the .NET Framework.
Refactor legacy code to improve performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues within a large and complex codebase.
Integrate third-party APIs, components, and libraries.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new features based on internal user requirements.
Contribute to architectural discussions and technical decision-making.
Document development work and technical designs thoroughly.

requirements-expected :

Languages: English is required.
5+ years of hands-on experience in .NET development, especially with WinForms.
Expert-level knowledge of C# and .NET Framework (preferably 4.5+).
Strong understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and clean code practices.
Proven experience in working with complex desktop applications, multithreading, and performance tuning.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Solid SQL database experience.
Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently on large modules and participate in planning and code reviews.
Enjoys interactive code analysis and exploratory testing.
Demonstrates high responsibility for thoroughly testing code that will be deployed in production.
