About the project

As a Windows Operator with German, you will play a key role in ensuring the stability, security, and performance of enterprise-level Windows Server environments. This position combines strong technical expertise with effective communication skills, as you will collaborate with international teams and support critical infrastructure for global clients.

Your responsibilities

Administer and optimize Windows Server infrastructure, including patch management and security updates (vulnerability management, hardening)
Manage VMware virtual machines in vSphere and maintain physical servers
Automate system processes using PowerShell scripting
Perform system health checks and adjust parameters to ensure optimal performance
Handle incidents, problems, changes, and service requests (SR), ensuring compliance with client requirements
Maintain documentation, including runbooks and transition files for operational handover
Collaborate with various teams and specialists such as Architects, Subject Matter Experts, Solution Designers, and engineers on both Capgemini and customer sides

Our requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience in administering and managing Windows Server infrastructure
Hands-on experience with Microsoft services, including Active Directory, Windows Server Update Services, and Configuration Manager
Strong knowledge of Windows Server security, including vulnerability management and system hardening
Practical experience in managing VMware virtual machines
Proficiency in maintaining automation scripts using PowerShell or Bash
Knowledge of Distributed File System (DFS)
Communicative German language skills (B1+)
