Role Overview

Can you tell an engaging, beautiful story through moving images? We’re looking for a Snr. Video Editor with proven experience in crafting and executing engaging video content for various distribution channels.

A little about our ideal candidate: Has a keen eye for video aesthetics and knows how to apply them to storytelling; has respect for design and brand standards; stays up-to-date on industry trends; maintains a clear and organized file structure; thinks critically, stays calm under pressure; and always demonstrates resourcefulness. Of equal importance to the above proficiencies is motivation by a personal work ethic and shared success with the studio team. Please ensure you can also provide an up-to-date portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Able to take direction from the Account Manager and client
• Able to work with various file formats
• Creates simple-mid motion graphics with a good understanding of After Effects
• Ensures audio quality and consistency
• Able to edit music utilizing instrument stems to drive video structure
• Possesses color correction skills
• Able to give script input to ensure it works for a video format
• Works closely and collaboratively with a team of designers, editors, writers, and account managers to meet project goals and deliver top-notch video content
• Maintains an organized folder/file/edit structure and able to adapt to an existing team format
• Creates final deliverables under brand guidelines and ensures asset management of those deliverables

Key Requirements

• 5-7 years of working experience at an agency level
• Willingness to learn new skills in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work well in a team setting
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and effectively manage multiple project
• Willingness to work extra hours during rush periods
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in video production
