Contract Job Title: Senior Vice President, Fund/Client Accounting Manager

We’re seeking a Senior Vice President, Fund/Client Accounting Manager to join our Private Equity & Credit Fund Accounting team in Alternative Operations . This role is located in Wrocław, Poland – HYBRID.

Team/Department Overview: Private Equity & Credit Fund Accounting

Alternative Operations Fund Accounting consolidates key areas into a single global team to better support our business and serve clients worldwide. The team handles Fund Accounting services across segments like Hedge, Private Markets, or Real Estate, providing opportunities for collaboration and skill development.

Your Role

Are you experienced in accounting or audit? This role offers a chance to join a global financial services group in Wroclaw, providing premier client service, including portfolio valuations, statements, cash management, property reviews, and NAV calculations.

As SVP, you will oversee multiple accounting teams, manage daily operations, and participate in onboarding and transitioning new processes. The role will expand to include additional teams after project completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple Fund Accounting teams responsible for accounting services for various clients, including NAV determination, property reviews, and cash management.
  • Manage financial and human resources to meet team goals.
  • Oversee processes for calculating NAV across different sectors.
  • Maintain client relationships and resolve escalated issues related to fund calculations and accounting.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial disclosures and reports.
  • Guide teams on compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Resolve complex issues and develop strategies for policy implementation.
  • Communicate complex accounting matters to clients.
  • Recruit, motivate, and develop staff, fostering professional growth and teamwork.
  • Manage multiple teams primarily through subordinate managers.
  • Contribute to achieving team objectives.

Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of experience managing fund administration teams.
  • Proven management skills in a global organization, managing multiple teams and clients.
  • Strong accounting knowledge.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to lead change and operational improvements.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS is a plus.
