Senior UX/UI Designer – Sanoma Learning.

This position is only for candidates legally residing in Poland and operating under a registered sole proprietorship (JDG). Applications from outside Poland will not be considered. As part of onboarding, we invite new joiners to our Warsaw office on the first day for a short introduction and identity verification.

About the Team

Our UX team is 40+ members strong and spans across Finland, Norway, Poland, Spain, Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands. With this role, you can tap into our expertise and feel secure having the support of your UX Competence Lead.

We support multiple product branches—including primary education, secondary education, and back-office products. You will work with multidisciplinary, agile SCRUM teams daily, developing our products. Additionally, you will collaborate with product and user research teams to understand the business, technical, and user requirements.

Sesame is a CIAM and account management solution for Sanoma Learning.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Preparation of designs on all fidelity levels
• Raising UX awareness within the project
• Highlighting research needs and supporting their facilitation
• Collaboration with developers, analysts, and PMs in the requirement collection process

Job Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial experience in a similar role
• Proactive and autonomous in leading product design activities (we don’t micro-manage)
• Being data and research-led
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with tech, business and UX stakeholders
• Excellent understanding of various UX tools, methods and usability practices (end‑to‑end product design cycle)
• Proficiency in Figma & Miro
• Experience with design systems or component libraries
• Experience in facilitation of user research activities
• Knowledge of designing accessible and inclusive digital products
• Full professional working proficiency in English (written and spoken)

• Workshop facilitation skills
• Strong UI design skills
• Pedagogical understanding
