• Creating, configuring, and overseeing Zones and VMs
• Applying OS and firmware patches to servers
• Streamlining automation processes using Ansible, shell scripts, and cron jobs
• Troubleshooting OS-related issues and evaluating server performance
• Planning, coordinating, and executing changes alongside other 3rd line support teams
• Engaging in infrastructure projects aimed at expanding your expertise across diverse fields and technologies

• Extensive hands-on experience in constructing and managing Solaris and Linux servers
• Proficiency in handling Solaris and Linux file systems and storage (such as LVM, NFS, automount, LUN, etc.)
• Knowledge of automation and management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Red Hat Satellite, etc.)
• Proficiency in bash, bourne, and yaml scripting, as well as cron job scheduling
• Familiarity with Solaris Zone management
• Understanding of virtualization technologies essential for deploying and managing Linux VMs (e.g., VMWare vSphere, Red Hat Virtualization, etc.)
