Senior Tunnel Engineer – Jacobs

Your Impact

As a Senior Tunnel Engineer, you will:

• Produce analytical models and project documentation including reports and contract documents for various design stages such as feasibility studies, tenders designs, and detailed designs.
• Lead and mentor younger staff.
• Use relevant design software.
• Develop networks with regional technology leaders for tunnel projects.
• Ensure quality control plans are followed and incorporate health and safety into design.
• Develop project‑specific delivery plans.
• Deliver projects in English.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a relevant accredited engineering field.
• Experience in a design office, particularly in tunnel/geotechnical design, analysis, assessment, inspection and reporting.
• Experience leading multi‑disciplinary projects.
• Chartered Engineer status or equivalent (plus).
• Good command of English.
• Experience in bridge design analysis, assessment, inspection (if applicable).
• Good presentation skills.
• Organised, team player able to work independently.
