Senior Test Automation Engineer / Test Manager (m/f/*)

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

 

As a Senior Test Automation Engineer/Test Manager you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Define, plan and manage comprehensive test strategies and test plans across multiple projects.
• Lead and coordinate testing activities, ensuring quality standards and timelines are met
• Design, develop and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts
• Drive continuous improvement in testing processes, tools and methodologies.
• Collaborate with development, Medical Knowledge Engineers, Dev/Ops Teams and Stakeholders to ensure seamless quality integration
• Analyze metrics and test results and provide actionable insights to the stakeholders
• Mentor and guide team members in testing best practices and automation techniques
• Usage of best practices AI-Tools for automated testing

Your Skills and Expertise 

 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher and at least 5 years of practical experience as a Test Manager and Test Automation Engineer
• ISTQB certified Advanced Level Test Manager
• English  - business fluent (C1)

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

• Expertise in designing, developing and maintaining test automation frameworks
• Strong hands-on expertise in test automation tools (Playwright, TestComplete, ReadyAPI, Selenium)
• Proficiency in Programming/Scripting Languages: TypeScript, JavaScript, Python VisualStudio Code
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests
• Solid understanding of performance, security and load testing
• Familiarity with SCRUM methodologies and modern software development practices
• Excellent problem solving, communication and leadership skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Additional Tools:
  • CI/CD: Github/GithubActions, Teamcity
  • Cloud Environment: AWS, Docker, DevOps, Cloud Native, Continuous Testing
  • AI-Tools: Github Copilot or equal
  • Test Management Systems (Zephyr)
  • Jira/Confluence
  • API
  • Test Maturity Models (TPInext, TMMi)
  • Continuous Improvement
  • BI Tools: AWS Quicksight, PowerBi

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Masters degree in Informatic Science from an accredited institution
• ISTQB certified Test Automation Engineer
• Experiences in the Health Care IT Area is an advantage
• German skills are an advantage

Work location:

• Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to Wroclaw, PL at least 2 days per week)

Travel: May include up to 20%

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status.
