The Embedded Competency Center is an organizational unit of Sii that brings together over 500 specialists.
We are looking for an Embedded Test Engineer. Within this role, you will become a member of the test team responsible for the quality of our new-generation readers and tools. All engineering teams (firmware, hardware, software, test) are collocated in Cracow. You will have the possibility to make strong contributions to feature design; engage with peers in test prototyping and fixture design; and develop test tools and frameworks.
responsibilities :
Working with project team members mainly in Cracow, you will be supporting a lot of important topics within the company
Designing, developing, and maintaining test methodologies, test frameworks, and test tools to validate existing and future product functionality
Executing test plans and documenting the results of testing campaigns
Analysing and collecting metrics on defects/defect patterns, to drive improvements in test coverage and product design to increase product quality and usability
requirements-expected :
Bachelors/Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related
At least 3 years of hands-on experience in testing
Knowledge of working with embedded products, in firmware testing and of highlighting bugs before they hit production
Familiarity with writing test cases in C# and Python
Experience in test automation / continuous integration (e.g. Jenkins Pipelines, Docker)
Working knowledge of source code management and configuration (Git)
Fluent Polish required
Residing in Poland required
