• Join a Scrum team developing the next generation of e-commerce backend services. As a Senior Test Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality of a modern, distributed platform based on Event-Driven Architecture and Apache Kafka. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with a creative mindset and strong experience in comprehensive test planning and automation. You will collaborate closely with developers to ensure API and data layers are thoroughly verified before production release, while actively contributing to the QA community and supporting the automation skill network.

• Collaboration with development squads in defining and refining quality criteria
• Preparation of structured test documentation and scenario coverage
• Creation and continuous enhancement of automated regression suites
• Transformation of manual verification processes into automated solutions
• Implementation of integration and end-to-end validation for backend services
• Verification of event flows and state transitions within event-sourced systems
• Execution of exploratory verification activities where automation coverage is limited
• Critical analysis of requirements and identification of potential quality risks
• Development of test doubles and simulation mechanisms for asynchronous communication
• Contribution to the QA Community of Practice initiatives and promotion of best practices

• Proven experience in comprehensive test strategy development
• Strong background in automation framework architecture and optimization
• Solid understanding of Event-Driven Architecture and event sourcing patterns
• Practical knowledge of API validation and backend data verification
• Experience in quality assurance for distributed and microservices-based systems
• Familiarity with message-driven platforms, including Apache Kafka
• Knowledge of non-functional testing approaches (performance, scalability, resilience)
• Understanding of data integrity, idempotency, and fault tolerance principles
• Active involvement in peer review processes and engineering knowledge exchange
