Senior Test Automation Engineer at EY

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain robust automated test frameworks for web and API layers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality delivery across multiple projects.
• Lead testing efforts in cloud-hosted environments, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Execute regression, performance, and integration tests.
• Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to development teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.
• Ensure testing aligns with business requirements and system goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in test automation and quality engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Playwright, Selenium, and other modern automation tools.
• Solid programming skills in Java, Python, or other OOP languages.
• Experience with cloud-hosted systems and testing in distributed environments.
• Proficiency in API testing (REST/SOAP) and backend validation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and lifecycle management tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps).
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies and quality assurance best practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
