Senior Tax Manager (new SSC)

• The International Tax Senior Manager will work closely with the International and US Tax Team in London to deliver tax compliance, reporting and governance processes across the international group. The role will also include M&A advisory and restructuring support.
• Roles and responsibilities:
• Work closely with our Agency Partners based in Central and Eastern Europe and Brazil.
• Foster a collaborative environment and work closely with other departments, including legal, finance, and treasury, to address international tax matters.
• Monitor proposed and incoming tax legislative developments as well as identifying and proactively managing the potential impact on the group.
• Build strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders to facilitate the integration of tax within the wider business.
• Maintain a strong network within the industry through attending relevant industry forums and events to maintain a knowledge of current industry tax issues.
• Work with external tax advisors, auditors, and consultants to ensure proper handling of international tax issues.
• Oversee the preparation and review of international tax filings, including tax returns and other required compliance filings for foreign subsidiaries.
• Manage and coordinate tax audits within International operations.
• Manage the preparation of international tax provisions in compliance with local GAAP regulations and IFRS/UK GAAP/US GAAP accounting standards as applicable.
• Assist with the quarterly and annual US GAAP tax reporting processes for the companys international operations.
• Provide strategic guidance and advice on international tax matters, including structuring of cross-border transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and joint ventures.
• Collaborate with internal business teams to optimize tax positions and mitigate risks in international operations.
• Maintain, document and communicate material questions, concerns or issues arising out of the tax and non-tax specific projects and initiatives, which may result in international tax process implications.
• Assess the impact of international tax reforms and regulatory changes on the companys operations and global tax structure.
• Work with the US Tax Team to oversee the Global transfer pricing policies and documentation for the organization, ensuring compliance with local and international tax laws.
• Work with the business and finance teams to develop and implement global transfer pricing strategies and frameworks.
• Coordinate with external advisors to ensure transfer pricing documentation is compliant with OECD guidelines and local country-specific requirements.
• Work collaboratively with the US and London Tax Teams and the International CFOs to develop, implement, embed and communicate tax risk and control framework across Acrisures International business.
