What the day will look like

The Senior Tax Analyst will assist in the corporate income tax reporting and compliance functions for Aon’s Canadian operations. This role will also assist with global income tax reporting projects.

1. Prepare non-resident Canadian tax filings
2. Assist with quarterly and annual income tax provision calculations and related working papers
3. Calculate monthly tax instalments and prepare month taxes payable reconciliation
4. Assist with global income tax reporting projects
5. Develop strong working relationships with the tax and controllership teams around the world

Skills and experience that will lead to success

1. Fluency in English (speaking and writing)
2. Strong written and verbal communication skills (English)
3. Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field, with emphasis in finance, accounting, or tax.
4. Minimum 2 years of operational accounting and/or tax experience
5. High proficiency in MS Excel
6. Ability to collaborate in a global team environment.
7. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
8. Self-starter, ability to focus on accuracy and timeliness.
9. Ability to prioritize and execute on multiple projects.
