Job Overview

Responsibilities

• Maintain excellent relationships with clients.
• Prepare and deliver VAT registers for VAT returns.
• Prepare Intrastat reports, ECSL ECPL and other VAT-related reports as required.
• Ensure timely reporting of VAT and compliance with tax operational standards and procedures.
• Reconcile VAT, Intrastat, and ECSL ECPL reporting data.
• Provide assistance for tax issues and ad‑hoc matters.
• Support team members or other teams (AP, AR) on correct tax treatment and VAT coding.
• Proactively identify opportunities for improvement, driving new implementations that increase the quality or automation of VAT reporting.
• Perform other tax‑related daily tasks and interact with team members.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in tax operations or tax compliance.
• Very good English skills – both written and spoken.
• Proven expertise in EU VAT reporting and solid understanding of VAT regulations and compliance requirements.
• University degree in accounting or a related field (preferred).
• Professional experience in SSC BPO or Big4 is an advantage.
• Practical skills in MS Office tools at a user level, with high Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Analytical skills with a proactive approach.
• Precision and attention to detail, very good organizational skills.
