Senior Talent Acquisition Partner (Temporary Maternity Cover)
Novocure, known for its innovative cancer therapies, is a global medical device company pioneering novel solutions in oncology. We are looking for a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner to join our team of experts, playing a key role in attracting and selecting top‑tier talent across Europe and the USA. This position will be based in either Baar, Switzerland or Krakow, Poland and requires a commutable distance to either office.
This is a full‑time, short‑term (8–10 months) contract position reporting to the Global Head of Talent Acquisition. Novocure embraces a flexible work policy known as NovoFlex: employees are encouraged to work an average of three days a week in the office over the course of a year.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Proactively recruit talent to meet business needs, taking full ownership of sourcing, interviewing, and supporting hiring decisions.
- Act as an expert advisor to hiring managers at all levels, including C‑suite, on best practices for talent acquisition, ensuring an efficient and fair selection process.
- Drive implementation of structured interview techniques and assessments to support objective candidate selection.
- Build strong relationships and collaborate with hiring managers across departments to understand talent needs, providing insights into the talent market and selection strategies.
- Support international recruitment initiatives as needed.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the recruiting process, including tools, systems (such as applicant tracking), and strategies to enhance efficiency and candidate experience.
- Develop and implement creative sourcing strategies, leveraging both traditional and non‑traditional methods, including diversity‑focused initiatives.
- Lead interview skills training and other hiring manager education initiatives to ensure effective selection processes.
- Represent Novocure’s values and culture to candidates, crafting compelling narratives about the company’s mission and opportunities.
- Identify and implement improvements in recruiting strategies, sourcing methods, and employer branding to attract top‑tier talent.
- Champion diversity initiatives and ensure an inclusive recruitment process.
Qualifications and Knowledge
- Minimum 8 years in recruitment, with at least 3 years in a corporate, in‑house recruiting environment. Experience in pharma, medical devices, med tech, or healthcare industries is preferred.
- Exceptional skills in sourcing and managing candidates across various channels; proven ability to assess candidate qualifications and fit for complex roles.
- Strong capability to manage demanding stakeholders, particularly at senior leadership levels, influencing and partnering with decision‑makers to drive hiring outcomes.
- Comprehensive understanding of HR best practices, legal requirements, and regulatory frameworks related to hiring and employment.
- Familiar with HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS); ability to drive improvements in technology and systems utilization is a plus.
- Experience supporting global talent acquisition strategies and working across regions.
