A successful Senior Support Engineer (OS, Networking) will join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing advanced technical support and troubleshooting for our server infrastructure and applications. You will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, performance, and security of our systems.

responsibilities :
Provide advanced technical support for our server infrastructure, including: Operating Systems: CentOS, RedHat Linux, Windows Server; Networking: DNS, TCP/IP; Email Systems: Microsoft Exchange, Postfix, Dovecot, Mailman
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to servers, network connectivity, and applications.
Diagnose and resolve DNS and TCP/IP related problems.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of email protocols (SMTP, etc.) and how email systems function.
Proactively monitor system performance and identify potential issues.
Implement and maintain security measures to protect our systems from threats.
Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support.
Document all support activities and troubleshooting steps.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Stay current with the latest technologies and industry best practices.
Contribute to the improvement of our support processes and procedures.
Adhere to Agile methodologies in your work.
requirements-expected :
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience as a System Administrator or Support Engineer.
Strong hands-on experience with:
Operating Systems: CentOS, RedHat Linux, Windows Server
Networking: DNS, TCP/IP
Email Systems: Microsoft Exchange, Postfix, Dovecot, Mailman
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, VirtualBox).
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
