About Them

This is an established and forward-thinking structural engineering consultancy based in London, known for delivering high-quality, innovative design solutions across residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. The team combines technical expertise with a fresh, modern approach to engineering, making us a trusted partner for architects, developers, and contractors alike.

Due to a strong pipeline of new and exciting projects, they are looking to appoint a Senior Structural Engineer to play a key role in leading design work, mentoring junior staff, and shaping project delivery.

The Role:

As a Senior Structural Engineer, you’ll take ownership of projects from concept through to construction. You’ll collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, liaise with clients and stakeholders, and provide creative engineering input into a wide variety of schemes – from bespoke residential refurbishments to large-scale mixed‑use developments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the structural design and delivery of projects from concept to completion
• Manage client relationships and contribute to project meetings
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and technicians
• Coordinate with architects and other consultants
• Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, regulations, and sustainability goals

You’ll have:

• A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (MEng)
• Chartered or near‑chartered status (ICE or IStructE)
• At least 5–8 years of UK‑based design experience
• Proficiency in structural design software (e.g., Tekla, Tedds, ETABS, Revit)
• Strong understanding of Eurocodes and UK Building Regulations
• A proactive attitude and strong communication skills
