At The Stepstone Group, we connect people and companies in 30+ countries through one of the world’s leading job-tech platforms. Our Warsaw Tech Hub (300+ specialists) is at the heart of this mission — and we’re now looking for a Staff Engineer to join our growing Data Products team.

Your responsibilities

Design and improve large-scale data pipelines in our modern AWS environment.
Work with Spark, Python, and streaming technologies (Kafka, Airflow, Glue, Step Functions) to process billions of events.
Partner with data scientists and product teams to deliver smarter search and matching features.
Help set best practices and mentor other engineers while staying hands-on.

Our requirements

Strong experience with big data systems and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
Proficiency in Python and Spark (PySpark).
Knowledge of batch and streaming pipelines
Good understanding of CI/CD, containers, monitoring, and security.
Collaborative mindset and fluency in English (Polish is not required).
