Senior Staff Electronics Engineer in Aerospace (f/m)

ABOUT THE ROLE
Aerospace Electronics department designs and produces an extensive range of electronic controllers for aerospace and defense in the actuators control domain. We are seeking a skilled and passionate Electronics Engineer to develop the next generation of airborne engine controllers that will increase the contribution of electronics to aircraft and shape electric avionics.
You will work on the design of electronic devices capable of driving medium and high-power electric motors and solenoids (control logic, inverter, power stage, etc.) in aerospace applications.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Act as an internal expert in electrical engineering, providing advanced technical guidance and solutions to complex challenges.
- Lead projects and proposals activities by planning, coordinating, and reporting the work of a team of EE’s.
- Develop and recommend enhancements to technology solutions and processes to align with business objectives and industry trends.
- Lead high-risk, complex engineering initiatives, managing resources and mitigating risks to ensure successful project completion.
- Partner with senior leadership and various departments, contributing to strategic technology decisions and driving organizational initiatives.
- Identify and solve unique, complex electrical engineering problems that significantly impact the business and its operations.
- Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external subject matter experts to support medium to large sized projects.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- PhD or Master of Science degree in electronics or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in electronics engineering (Aerospace background is an advantage).
- Proven experience in complex analog and digital circuits design.
- Knowledge of fundamentals of electric motors and drive systems analysis, modeling, and control.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical engineering principles, standards, and best practices.
- Skilled in addressing complex and unique electrical engineering challenges through innovative and conceptual thinking and problem-solving techniques.
- Adherence to process and strong drive for improvement and lean organization.
- Working level experience with Matlab/Simulink, PLECS or similar tools is appreciated.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills; ability to operate in an international project team.
- Good English and Polish language skills; able to explain technical topics.
