Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain Splunk environments, ensuring performance and scalability.
  • Lead deployments and manage Splunk apps, add-ons, and knowledge objects.
  • Write and optimize SPL (Search Processing Language) queries, including correlation searches and NEAP configuration in Splunk ITSI.
  • Create dashboards and reports tailored to business requirements, supporting data analysis and visualization.
  • Integrate Splunk with external monitoring and ITSM tools (e.g. ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, Jira).
  • Administer Linux systems and automate tasks using CLI, API, or scripting.
  • Contribute to platform evolution by identifying opportunities for optimization, automation, and innovation.
  • Document technical solutions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Splunk administration and development.
  • Hands-on experience with SPL and Splunk ITSI, including correlation searches and NEAP configuration.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux system administration, scripting (e.g. Python, PowerShell, and Bash), and system integration via REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Familiarity with other monitoring tools (e.g. Zabbix, Centreon) and managing on-premises Splunk infrastructure.
  • Deep understanding of TCP/IP networking, IT security principles, and single sign-on technologies.
  • Experience with Splunk ITSI premium apps, especially in the context of AIOps (Artificial Intelligence for IT Operations), including adaptive thresholds, anomaly detection, predictive analytics, and event correlation.
