Senior Splunk Developer / Python Engineer
Location: Remote (Poland-based candidates preferred)
Contract Duration: 2 years
Engagement Type: B2B
Start Date: ASAP (maximum 2 weeks notice)
Language Requirement: Fluent English
We are currently seeking a Senior Engineer with strong experience in Splunk development and Python programming to join a long-term international project. This is a fully remote opportunity with a stable 2-year engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy Splunk Technology Add-Ons (TAs) and custom solutions.
- Build integrations with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) using their APIs.
- Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to configure and administer commercial security solutions (e.g., IDS, NGFW, Identity Management).
- Work with Linux CLI and shell scripting for automation and system tasks.
- Contribute to SIEM-related architecture and implementation.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 8+ years of overall IT experience.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in Splunk development and Python.
- Strong understanding of cloud APIs (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Proficiency with Linux command-line and shell scripting.
- Familiarity with SIEM systems and security tools.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with DevOps tools and practices.
- Knowledge of infrastructure automation and CI/CD pipelines.
