Job Description:

  • Conducting research and developing entrepreneurs’ competencies in the fields of behavioral economics, business models and management, as well as green transformation aligned with ESG principles.
  • Carrying out research in the area of vocational education and the labor market, including occupational studies, diagnosis and forecasting of emerging professions, qualifications, and skills.
  • Analyzing competency gaps among employees in the innovative economy.
  • Supporting innovation and entrepreneurship, and creating favorable conditions for the establishment and development of innovative enterprises within startup incubation programs.
  • Establishing contacts and cooperating with national and international institutions.
  • Acquiring national and international research and implementation projects.
  • Cooperating with other organizational units of the Institute.
  • Actively participating in scientific, research, and implementation activities carried out within the organizational unit.
  • Preparing documentation and settling scientific and research work in accordance with the Institute’s requirements.
  • Publishing scientific articles and papers in line with the research scope of the organizational unit.
  • Actively participating in scientific seminars and unit meetings.
  • Taking part in scientific or industry conferences (e.g., presentations, posters, participation in discussion panels).
  • Collaborating with the business sector in the implementation of research results, e.g., active involvement in commercialization-oriented projects.

Requirements:

  • Doctoral degree, preferably in the humanities or social sciences.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the research and development sector.
  • Academic and publication record in the humanities or social sciences.
  • Ability to formulate ideas clearly and concisely in both speech and writing.
  • Experience in leading teams and implementing projects (including international, EU-funded projects).
  • English language proficiency at a minimum B2 level.
  • Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies in the social sciences.
  • Strong analytical and research competencies.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proactive approach and adaptability to change.
  • Accuracy and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to perform tasks effectively under time pressure.
  • Good command of MS Office 365.

Additional Qualifications (preferred):

  • Authorship of original monographs, reports, and expert studies.
  • Knowledge of intellectual property protection.
  • Scientific cooperation with leading research centers and universities.
  • Participation in expert and advisory bodies.
