Responsibilities

• Perform tests on the physicochemical properties of chemicals and plant protection products in accordance with GLP requirements
• Conduct tests according to international guidelines and standards (CIPAC, OECD, EC, ASTM, OPPTS)
• Prepare samples for physicochemical tests
• Conduct measurements, develop, and interpret test results
• Prepare test reports and maintain documentation in accordance with the laboratorys quality system and GLP principles
• Supervise the use, maintenance, calibration and ongoing operation of research equipment
• Participate in implementation of research and development projects, including those financed from national and European funds
• Develop and improve research methods and expand the laboratorys research offerings in the field of physico-chemistry
• Collaborate with scientific partners and external clients on research and implementation
• Participate in the preparation of project documentation, scientific publications, and materials for grant applications

Qualifications

• University degree in chemistry, geochemistry, biology, biotechnology, or related sciences
• Experience working in a research or analytical laboratory in the field of physicochemical research
• Knowledge of the principles of validation and quality assurance of analytical methods
• Ability to develop procedures and interpret measurement results
• Ability to prepare reports and maintain research documentation
• Experience in R&D or collaboration with industry

• Experience in commercializing research results or implementing new technologies
• Experience working within a GLP quality system
• Participation in research and development projects
• Ability to analyze results and prepare scientific publications
