PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Lead solution design and implementation in a global IT delivery organization.
2. Develop and prepare the IT landscape and technical roadmap.
3. Guide the architectural decisions and provide technical leadership across multiple teams.
4. Ensure the technical standards and good practices are implemented across multiple projects.
5. Cooperate with multiple teams and stakeholders.
6. Complete the deliverables with high quality and within the set timeframe.
7. Drive continuous improvements with focus on quality, usability, and maintainability.
8. Establish a trusted partnership with our internal business and technical counterparts.
9. Become proficient with business processes implemented in the solution and look for opportunities to simplify.
10. Act as a point of contact for challenging issues across multiple projects.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Must Have:

1. Academic degree in Information Technology or Software Engineering or equivalent.
2. Experience with design systems in UML notations.
3. Proficient in writing applications using modern Java-based stacks.
4. Experience with relational and NoSQL database engines.
5. Experience and knowledge with cloud and microservices architectures.
6. Experience with performance profiling and tuning using Dynatrace or similar tools.
7. Experience and knowledge with security standards like: OWASP.
8. Proficient in development tools and practices such as Git workflows, Git Actions, Test Automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
9. Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills in the English language.
10. Familiarity with agile project delivery (Scrum, Kanban).
11. Ability to work in an international, virtual team, and hybrid office/remote working environment.
12. Ability to guide and support other team members, providing technical guidance and assistance.
13. The ability to clearly and effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have:

1. Experience with SAP BTP, SAP CRM / ERP, and ABAP, SAP HANA, SAP OData.
2. Experience with building Node.js applications.
3. Experience with SAFe.

WORK EXPERIENCE

We are looking for at least 10+ years of professional work experience in software development with at least 2 years as a solution architect.

We work 3 days a week in the office.
