About the project

As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll play a key role in building and scaling our core platform that automates and optimizes PO workflows for mid-market industrial manufacturers.

Your responsibilities

  • Lead and contribute to the architecture and design of complex distributed systems ensuring scalability and high availability.
  • Write, test, and maintain high-quality code primarily in Node.js, Typescript, React, and PostgreSQL.
  • Build and manage AWS-based infrastructure (Lambda, EC2, RDS, S3, API Gateway, MSK/Kafka).
  • Work closely with product, design, and engineering teams to define requirements and deliver on the roadmap.
  • Guide and mentor junior engineers to foster growth and development within the team.
  • Lead investigations and resolve performance and scalability bottlenecks in a data-intensive environment.
  • Quickly adapt to changing business needs and priorities in a high-growth environment.

Our requirements

  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5+ years in high-growth startup environments (Seed to Series C+).
  • Proven expertise in building scalable systems with Node.js, Typescript, React, SQL databases (PostgreSQL preferred), and AWS services.
  • Hands-on experience from Seed through Series A/B/C stages, contributing to both strategy and execution.
  • Experience in leading projects, mentoring engineers, and making impactful architectural decisions.
  • Strong skills in debugging, performance optimization, and designing fault-tolerant systems.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where priorities and challenges evolve quickly.
