As a senior software engineer at Dignio you’ll have a leading role in development and maintenance across our tech stack, both at the architecture level and individual feature level. You are experienced in backend and frontend, and appreciate devops and cloud.

About the Project

You will play a crucial role in developing our tech-stack which is used by healthcare professionals to monitor and manage the condition of remote patients. This position offers you the opportunity to not only showcase and expand your programming skills but also to make a tangible difference in peoples lives. Responsibilities

• Keep overview of our tech stack and architecture. Together with other seniors and tech leads, review when necessary and point forward direction.
• Develop new services and maintain existing services together with the rest of our tech team.
• Work close together with business stakeholders to understand the use-cases and find the best solution for implementation
• Develop clean, reusable and stable code that is able to meet the organisations high-quality standards.
• Contribute to our devops work, thus ensuring that our products are available, secure and monitored at all times.
• Working on platform optimisation to achieve maximum performance, stability and resiliency.
• Utilise our day-to-day tools to make sure documentation and procedures are up to our high standards.

Were looking for people who:

• Are team players yet self-driven.
• Are experienced in both backend and frontend, with proven skills in our core technologies (Python, React, Typescript, PostgresSQL).
• Are used to, or want to, work in a cloud based-environment. Prior knowledge of AWS is a plus. 
• Have knowledge of tools like Docker and Github, and interest in applying such tools in a devops environment. Prior experience with setting up CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
• Have a passion for clean, reusable, scalable and maintainable code that holds high quality. Prior experience with automated unit testing as an integral part of software development is a plus.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of working experience.
• Relevant experience with full-cycle software development, including frontend and backend, preferably also devops and cloud.
• Proven skills in several of our core technologies and tools (Python, React, Typescript, PostgreSQL, Github, Docker and AWS).
• Spoken and written English fluency.
