What you will do

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will apply software engineering principles to design, develop and maintain our digital products. Success in this role requires a strong understanding of web-based and cloud solutions and expertise in Azure ecosystem while leveraging SharePoint to streamline collaboration and business processes. You will have an opportunity to drive innovation, contributing creative solutions and forward-thinking ideas to enhance our software and address evolving business needs.

Your future team

You will have a home base in the Digital Technologies – Content Services organization that offers a wide range of modern technologies utilized to strengthen business efficiency coming from the right approach of handing critical content.

Our team of eight diverse IT professionals combines unique skills and perspectives, driven by collaboration, open communication, and a passion for innovation. We manage digital products that deliver exceptional value to enhance Volvo Group TD/BA/GFs operations, using a structured, transparent, and agile development process that fosters trust and strong business partnerships.

Who are you?

Do you dream big? We do too, and we are excited to grow together. In this role, you will bring: 

• Relevant university degree (bachelor’s or master’s degree)
• Complete proficiency in English
• +8 years software development experience
• .NET strong programming skills
• Proficiency with Azure services like Azure Functions, Logic Apps, App Services, Service Bus, and Azure Storage
• Good understanding of Azure AD, App Registrations, RBAC, authentication and authorization mechanisms
• Proven expertise in SharePoint Online, including SPFx, workflows, and integrations
• Database design and programming knowledge (SQL, no-SQL), data normalization (3NF)
• Advanced in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks (React, Angular is a plus)
• Understanding of modern DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines implementations and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and best practices
