The demandTec team, part of Acoustic, is seeking a dynamic Software Engineer. This position is responsible for collaborating with cross-functional Software Engineering teams to deliver quality solutions. The candidate should possess strong communication and collaboration skills in agile methodologies. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation built on modern development methodologies (TDD, BDD, Kanban/Agile).

Responsibilities:

1. Follow the software development process and best practices to create software and IT solutions.
2. Review feature descriptions to understand functionality.
3. Work with the Project Manager and Manager to clarify requirements.
4. Manage time effectively by breaking down features into tasks and estimating time.
5. Collaborate with the team and manager to review designs.
6. Develop features according to the task plan.
7. Write unit tests for new features to ensure quality.
8. Test your code locally to verify it works and review code quality.
9. Fix bugs reported by QA engineers.
10. Address issues raised by customers and the Production Support team.
11. Communicate with developers, QAs, and product managers from Acoustic globally.
12. Take the lead in evaluating technologies and making informed decisions.

Minimum Requirements:

1. 5+ years of experience in software engineering, covering requirements analysis, design, coding, unit testing, and building scalable web applications and APIs.
2. Strong expertise in object-oriented design and Microsoft technologies like .Net Core, .Net Standard, .Net Framework, C#, ASP.Net MVC, ASP.Net Core MVC, and Azure SQL Server.
3. Experience with Git workflows and pull requests. CICD experience is a plus.
4. Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server , including query optimization, stored procedures, and managing database objects.
5. Experience in Cloud development using Docker and Microservices.
6. Strong background in Agile methodologies.
7. Skilled in troubleshooting, performance tuning, and optimizing memory usage in C# and ASP.Net.
8. Proficient in working with RESTful APIs and other programmatic interfaces.
9. Experience working with globally distributed teams.
10. Comfortable with remote work and participating in audio/video collaboration sessions.
11. Experience writing release notes and technical documentation for apps.
12. Ability to handle production issues, troubleshoot customer incidents and resolve them efficiently.
13. Skilled in root cause analysis for production issues and providing solutions.
14. Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
15. Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).

Nice to have:

1. Hands-on experience with front-end technologies like React, Angular, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
