Your responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java applications for Android banking platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features and enhancements.
• Ensure code quality through code reviews, unit testing, and best practices.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Participate in architectural discussions and technical decision-making.
• Contribute to continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge within the team and stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Write clear technical documentation as well as Support the deployment and monitoring of applications in production.

Our requirements

• 5+ years of professional Java development experience (Java 8 or above) with solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
• Hands-on experience with Spring, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Mockito).
• Experience with CI/CD tools and processes.
• Understanding of messaging systems (Kafka, IBM MQ).
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS (EKS, Lambda), GCP, or Azure).
• Experience with ORM frameworks (Hibernate, MyBatis).
• Understanding of secure coding practices is a must
