ERGO Technology & Services S.A. (ET&S S.A.) was established in January 2021 following the integration of ERGO Digital IT and Atena into one entity, leveraging both companies’ strengths and best practices. As a part of ERGO Technology & Services Management AG, the technology holding of ERGO Group AG, we support millions of internal and external customers with state-of-the-art IT solutions to everyday problems.

In October 2022, ET&S S.A. expanded its scope of operations by creating a Business Services unit to contribute in a new way to the growth of ERGO’s business. About the role

As a Senior Software Engineer for IAM, you can shape the technical design of one of the organizations most critical platforms. You will be developing features based on security, business or architectural requirements, and will collaborate with the relevant stakeholders accordingly to find the best solution design and technical implementation. 

How you will get the job done

• working closely with product owners and business analysts to understand functional requirements and translating them into technical design and implementation
• providing technical leadership on development projects
• developing and maintaining features in the context of project or run activities
• analysing and improving existing technical implementations
• defining and promoting development principles and processes
• ensuring robust, performant and scalable solution designs
• assisting application developers at all levels with the interpretation of requirements and creation of solution designs
• participating in all levels of testing from unit testing through performance testing
• creating appropriate level of documentation required for maintenance and support

Skills and experience you will need

• fluency in English is a must
• bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or equivalent work experience
• multiple years of relevant work experience as a software engineer
• in-depth experience and understanding of the software development lifecycle
• strong knowledge of the One Identity Manager software product
• knowledge of IAM and related systems and technologies
• proficiency in SQL, .NET, C#, VB, PowerShell, JQuery, HTML, CSS, Angular, Rest API
• understanding of complex technical infrastructures
• knowledge of systems automation and Cloud environments
• proficient in Agile development methodology
• “Can do” mentality
