Adtran seeks an outstanding Senior Engineer to work on its exciting Cloud-based Software-as-a-Service platform Intellifi MeshView . This is a flexible SaaS software that enables service providers to manage, optimize and monetize with insights and revenue-generating tools to create differentiated services, capture new subscribers and increase ARPU and ROI.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing and continually improving our product using new technologies and best agile practices, and will work closely with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure the product meets the needs of our customers.

You will be a member of a full-stack team responsible for designing, analyzing requirements, developing, implementing, testing, debugging, and maintaining software solutions for Intellifi MeshView, including but not limited to the following: application development, system software architecture, software test development, and customer assistance.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Perform or assist in high-level and low-level software design and implementation of new features and enhancements to existing software.
2. Perform or assist in feasibility studies of needed software development.
3. Document the design including features definition and architecture.
4. Conduct and participate in design reviews and code reviews.
5. Plan and perform unit, acceptance and end-to-end level testing of implemented software modules and enhancements.
6. Help fix software bugs found during all testing phases.
7. Work with the team to deploy and test incremental software releases.
8. Organize and coordinate development activities within schedule and product constraints.
9. Other projects and assignments may result and be assigned to accommodate the changing needs of the department and the Company.

Basic Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Information Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent education required.
2. At least 6 - 8 years of active experience.
3. Strong ownership attitude and willingness to drive feature development, integration, and QA efforts.
4. Proven professional experience with software design, implementation and debugging.
5. A solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software engineering.
6. Experience with at least one modern web development framework (Angular , React ).
7. Good knowledge, proven by experience, of Material Design Components.
8. Experience with scripting languages (Python , Bash ).
9. Good understanding of the Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) aspects.
10. Experience with at least one modern test framework (Jest , pyTest , Selenium ).
11. At least B2 English proficiency level.
12. Excellent teamwork abilities and effectiveness in cross-site communication.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience developing in containerized applications (Docker or equivalent).
2. Proven QA experience in Web GUI and SaaS development process.
3. Experience with wireframing GUI designs (e.g., Balsamiq, Figma , Storybook ).
4. Experience with testing tools such as Cypress, Jasmine.
5. Good understanding of Amazon Web Services and cloud deployments (e.g. AWS EC2, AWS API Gateway, AWS S3, etc.)
