Senior Software Engineer (Front-end | GUI | React | Angular)

As a front-end/GUI engineer, youll be instrumental in enhancing Dell’s award-winning PowerStore Manager.

Youll collaborate with a highly cohesive team of front-end developers, working closely with scrum teams located in Poland, Israel, and the US. This dynamic team is responsible for delivering and maintaining all front-end features for Dell’s Midrange Storage product, PowerStore.

What you’ll achieve

In this role, youll quickly build valuable skills through thoughtful mentoring and make an immediate impact across anyone of the various functional areas, including storage provisioning, hosts & initiators (iSCSI, FC, NVMe), system integrity, performance monitoring, alerting, security, initial configuration, physical inventory, protection policies, data mobility, and more.



You will:

• execute on our winning roadmap, while being responsible for designing, developing, integrating and testing software solutions in a continuous integration and continuous development environment

• contribute to the development of automated tests for previously delivered features to ensure the regression environment is robust, as well as add new automation tests for newly delivered feature content

• collaborate with UX designers in the process of taking concepts to functional behaviors bringing them to life

• collaborate with backend engineers on REST API definitions and feature behaviors.

• collaborate with a test-engineers responsible for validation of functionality you produced

Essential Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in GUI development, in-depth knowledge of Web front-end pillars

• 2+ years of experience with React (or Angular) and TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, knowledge of popular React.js workflows (such as Redux)

• Working experience with REST APIs

• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git 

• Self-Learning abilities, problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills

Desirable Requirements

• Experience working in a geo-distributed team using Agile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences/Engineering or equivalent
