Summary

The IT company Andersen invites an experienced Senior Software Engineer (Delphi+Java) to join its team for working with our customer from the UK.

The customer is a company that offers data-driven solutions for people, risk and capital management. Leveraging the global vision and local expertise of colleagues across 140 countries and markets, it helps to sharpen the strategy, improve organizational resilience, motivate people and maximize performance.

The project is to be part of the highly successful Igloo modeling platform on an Augmentation basis.

Responsibilities

1. Working with existing widely used desktop Delphi applications.
2. Supporting existing customers.
3. Integrating with the Igloo Cloud platform.
4. Collaborating with the current Delphi development team.
5. Refining features in collaboration with Technical Product Leads.
6. Ensuring software quality by using best development practices.
7. Participating in Agile development processes with automated testing, continuous integration (CI), and code reviews.
8. Solving problems ranging from straightforward to extraordinarily complex.

Requirements

1. Highly skilled at programming with the Delphi language.
2. Experience with the programming language Java.
3. Working within an Agile environment.
4. Knowledge of automated testing and CI.
5. Experience with Source Control.
6. Able to work both in a team and when needed to self-motivate and self-organize.
7. Experience with the full software development lifecycle in a commercial/production environment: estimation, implementation, unit and system-level testing, installation and deployment, maintenance.
8. Level of English – from Upper - Intermediate and above.
