PLVision is looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with advanced expertise in C and C++, extensive knowledge of the Linux OS, and a strong understanding of networking protocols. In this role, you will contribute to our new project focused on integrating and enhancing the SONiC (Software for Open Networking in the Cloud) network operating system for the client’s hardware platform. This initiative is part of the company’s new product launch and aims to establish a robust foundation for developing and maintaining the SONiC software ecosystem.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will create and maintain design documentation, implement key features, collaborate with the test team, mentor team members, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
responsibilities :
Develop and test software to enable high-performance SAI/SONiC functionality on new platforms
Create architecture, design documentation, and maintain it to facilitate software modifications
Implement and document SAI/SONiC features (components) in alignment with requirements
Collaborate closely with the test team to provide a development perspective
Establish test metrics, mentor team members, and ensure all functionality is implemented on time
requirements-expected :
Extensive knowledge of the Linux OS
Strong understanding of networking protocols, including Layer 2 or Layer 3 protocol implementation and TCP socket programming
Excellent proficiency in C and C++
5+ years of professional experience in Software Engineering
Technical English proficiency at an Intermediate level or higher
