Senior Software Engineer

About the Role:

Join a Kraków-based ad-tech company developing innovative software for effective online advertising. As part of our small, motivated team, you will collaborate closely with Product and Business teams to deliver impactful solutions. You’ll have full access to production environments and take ownership from feature planning to deployment and maintenance.

About the Project:

Our product is a performance marketing platform offering advanced programmatic ad serving technology. Our services cater to brands, agencies, and digital marketers, focusing on incremental advertising and traffic monetization.

Our Stack:

• Java 21, Spring/Spring Boot, Hibernate.
• AWS (EC2, S3, SQS, RDS), PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Redis, Memcached.
• Tools: Terraform, Maven, Docker, Jenkins, GitHub.
• Monitoring: DataDog, PagerDuty.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Product and Business teams to ensure solutions meet customer needs.
• Design scalable and maintainable features using AWS services.
• Mentor less experienced team members.
• Maintain and monitor platforms, including on-call duties every eight weeks.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of Java programming experience.
• Strong testing skills (unit, integration, end-to-end).
• Deep understanding of distributed systems.
• Experience mentoring junior developers.
• Strong independence, ownership, and initiative.
• Excellent communication skills in both Polish and English.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Spring, Kafka, AWS, and CI/CD pipelines.
