For our Client we are currently looking for Candidates for the position of:

Senior Software Engineer with React and Java

Location: CracowJob type: B2B (with Hays Poland)Length: first contract signed for 12 months, with possibility to prolongRate: 150-190 PLN/h netStart date: ASAPWorking hours: business hoursTeam: Scrum team consisting of 12 Senior Developers (finally 18 Developers), divided into 2-3 small teams. Support is located in the US; Product Managers are based in Poland and in the US.Vacancies: 5Remote work: working in a hybrid model 2 days per week in the office in Cracow (the whole team is located in Cracow)


What will you do:

• Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, cross-functional, agile environment
• Team with product management to define desired capabilities
• Technical design and deliver those capabilities with state-of-the art rich interfaces in TypeScript
• Contribute procedures, tools and practices to optimize team productivity
• Analyse problems from internal and external customers, debug and provide fixes
• Deliver initial quality, design for automated test-ability, and write unit tests

What we expect from you:

• Minimum 4-5 years of experience as Software Engineer
• Practical experience in React framework development
• Object-oriented software engineering with Java and TypeScript
• Complex object (data) models and business rules
• Large scale, data-driven business applications, preferably SaaS
• Rich user interfaces with web 2.0 technology such as BI, graphical manipulation or complex tabular UIs
• Very good communication skills, ability to discuss with business and clarify requirements
• Knowledge of English on B2 level

What would be a plus:

• Knowledge of monitoring tools, such as Splunk or Data Dog or other
• Knowledge of automation tools, such as Cypress or other
• Experience with AWS / Terraform or with other public cloud solutions
• Knowledge of Docker or similar solution
• Relational and non-relational databases, schema design, SQL and NoSQL
• Design of commercial PaaS or internal platform/application architectures and APIs
• Experience with content-management and scriptable applications
• Preferred Education: Master39s Degree
