Your Qualifications:

1. Solid foundation in computer science fundamentals and software design principles
2. Exceptional problem-solving skills with a pragmatic approach
3. Proven track record of high productivity in commercial software development
4. Proficiency with development tools, Git, and modern IDEs
5. Extensive experience with Ruby (experience with Rails and beyond; experience in other tech stacks is a significant plus)
6. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in collaborative, distributed teams

Bonus Points For:

1. Experience with event-driven architectures or event sourcing
2. Contributions to open-source projects or personal side projects
3. Interest in AI/ML and its application in development workflows
4. Experience in optimizing development processes and tooling
