Lyreco is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join their integration team for an upcoming digital transformation. The role involves developing software solutions, contributing to architectural decisions, and guiding team members. Youll work with an agile team to build, investigate, and advise on solutions, collaborating closely with developers, product owners, and system analysts. Additionally, youll share your expertise with developers company-wide during community meetings.

Lyreco is a worldwide distributor of workplace products, with its corporate headquarters in Marly, North of France. Privately owned, the company was founded in 1926 by the Gaspard family. Lyreco covers 25 countries with a direct presence and 17 countries supported by 15 Strategic Partners.

In such a large and complex organization, operating on multiple enterprise-scale systems, the essential point is to ensure a proper integration between them. The integration team builds and maintains a modern, scalable service-based integration layer. The scope of this team is wider than just integration. Services that will be constructed here are more about excluding reusable business logic from various systems to enable scalability and future integrations (e.g. master data). We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer to join our team and help us provide excellence in the upcoming digital transformation.

As a Senior Software Developer, your mission will be not only to develop efficient software solutions but also to contribute to the architecture decision and guide other team members. You will join the agile team which is responsible for not only building but also investigating and advising about the solution. In this position, you will work closely with other developers as well as product owners and system analysts. You will be able to share your knowledge with other developers across the company during different community meetings.

Main Responsibilities

1. Development of integration services based on API/event first approach with the support of NoSQL and Kafka.
2. Contribute to extending the existing framework to support service development.
3. Contribute to scrum ceremonies as an active team member.
4. Performing code reviews and pair programming.
5. Contribute to solution designs together with tech leads and architects.

Qualifications and Skills

1. Proficiency in Java Programming language (Mostly working on Java 17+).
2. Experience with message brokers like Kafka.
3. Experience in building distributed systems.
4. Understanding TDD, Clean Code, and Clean Architecture principles.
5. Docker, Kubernetes is a +.
6. Experience in NoSQL is a +.
7. Experience in working in Kanban and/or Scrum.
8. Experience in JIRA and Confluence or similar tools for process tracking/documenting.
9. Skills and experience in Agile methodology.
10. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders in a multicultural and diverse environment.
11. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Other Requirements

1. B2/C1 English level.
2. Hybrid work (attendance 3 days per week in the office).
3. Experience in remote work.
