We expect that you, as a developer, are passionate about your craft and already have a good understanding of modern development techniques.

We expect that you value simplicity, clean code and clean architecture, you practice TDD, pair programming and always welcome feedback.

You will be an integrated and important part of the team you are assigned to and will be given mentoring and training to learn more and gain experience.

THE CHALLENGE:

1. Build scalable, high performance services on top of our real-time sports data, collected 27/4 globally for more than 30 different sports.
2. Be an active part in making the most out of our AWS partnership.
3. Become a domain expert in the exciting world of real-time sports data.

YOUR PROFILE:

You are a developer who likes challenges, having fun and being focused at work. Learning is a natural part of your workday. You enjoy collaborating with a diverse group of people.

Required:

1. Passion for technology.
2. Proven, hands-on software development experience (Java).
3. Ability to write clean, well-crafted and tested code (XP, TDD).
4. Agile mindset (focus on delivering working software, collaboration and improvement).
5. Shared values - relations, collaboration, trust.
6. Experience with cloud-based applications and microservices (AWS).
7. Automation testing on various levels (BDD, Performance testing, Contract testing).
8. Distributed event streaming solutions (Kafka, RabbitMQ or similar).
9. Understanding how the code can be shipped (Docker, Kubernetes).
