JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for an experienced Shopify Developer with strong leadership skills to manage our projects. Why? We have a portfolio of esteemed clients who view us as trustworthy partners, necessitating a technical lead who can oversee projects from inception. This includes everything from cost estimation to understanding client needs and translating these into technical requirements to ensure successful delivery. At the same time we want to expand and grow the Shopify division within our organization. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for you to excel as a Shopify Expert within our community.

REQUIREMENTS:

• With a total experience in Shopify Web Development of 3+ years
• Proven track record of working with clients as a technical lead or advisor
• Great working knowledge of the Shopify and Shopify Plus platform including Shopify plugins
• Significant hands-on development and architecture experience in all aspects of the Shopify platform (including themes, apps, common integrations, REST, GraphQL, Shopify APIs, Shopify Functions, Custom Themes, Shopify Plus and Shopify Markets).
• Significant experience in designing (and documenting) Shopify solutions, handling a wide range of technical and non-technical constraints.
• Development background and experience in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, React.js, as well Liquid.
• Experience delivering Shopify solutions for enterprise clients, solving the challenges presented by clients of this scale, and following best practices.
• Experience leading a development team from a technical ownership perspective.
• Helping define our Shopify learning, development and mentoring strategy for other architects and developers in our business.
• Working knowledge of Shopify’s object/properties, AJAX API, and Metafields
• Experience in customizing the checkout page of the Shopify shop
• Excellent communication skills in English are required
• Proven skills in building responsive web projects from Figma, using HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.
• Previous experience implementing/debugging third-party Shopify apps, as well as building unique solutions if needed
• Extensive testing and debugging abilities using the browser console and other tools
• Experience in MySQL or similar databases
• Be willing to review others’ work and to take feedback from others constructively.
• An ability to take ownership of a project and to see it through at the highest quality

Nice to have:

• A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or any related discipline
• Delivering Headless Shopify integrated with common external systems like CMS, Product Search and PIM.
• Headless architectures, and how these interact with the back-end
