We are looking for Senior SEO Specialisttojoinus aspart ofour team.

About the role

In this role, you’ll lead our SEO and AI optimization initiatives to boost search rankings, expand visibility, and generate high-quality inbound leads — making a direct impact on the company’s growth.

About the project

Right now, SPD Technology is collaborating with an external SEO agency. However, this collaboration doesn’t prove to be efficient: due to their outdated and farfetched practices, we’re getting the majority of traffic from non-target countries (such as India, Malaysia, etc.) and the overall engagement with our website isn’t as high as it could be, which generally affects our digital visibility and inbound lead gen. The latest marketing audit has demonstrated that we need to take ownership of our SEO and backlink strategy by hiring an in-house specialist and terminate our current collaboration with the agency.

Team

Our marketing team currently includes 5 people including Marketing Director, Content Manager, 3 Content Writers, Sales Enablement/Market Researcher and Designer

Flexible work schedule (40 hours a week), ideally, based in Ukraine or Eastern Europe, reporting to Marketing Director and working closely with Content Team.

Asaqualified expert You will

• Work with the content team to shape SEO/AI optimization strategies.
• Lead on-page, off-page, and technical SEO improvements.
• Run audits and partner with developers to fix crawl, indexing, and performance issues.
• Improve Core Web Vitals, mobile usability, and page speed.
• Manage external SEO/link-building partners.
• Track rankings, traffic, and keyword performance, sharing insights with the team.
• Stay ahead of AI-driven search changes and bring fresh ideas to the table.

We’re looking for you ifyou have

• Proven track record in B2B SEO, ideally within fintech, technology/software development, outsourcing, or AI/ML-driven sectors.
• Deep understanding of Google’s search ecosystem, including algorithm updates, ranking factors, and the evolving impact of AI-driven search platforms (e.g., AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok).
• Hands-on expertise in technical SEO: site architecture, schema markup, structured data, crawl optimization, and content frameworks designed for AI discoverability and ranking.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations for both content and technical teams.
• Advanced proficiency with SEO and analytics tools: Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, Google Analytics (GA4), and GTM; experience with server-side SEO setups is a plus.
• A strategic, results-focused mindset, with curiosity and passion for leveraging AI to push the boundaries of search optimization.
