Senior SAP FI/CO Consultant with Advanced Financial Closing

We are looking for a Senior SAP FI/CO Consultant to join our EY GDS Consulting Services team to navigate clients through IT transformation journeys by implementing cutting-edge IT solutions dedicated to the biggest market players.

The opportunity

As a member of our team, you’ll have a chance to extend your knowledge & experience by working on interesting projects with the newest technologies and approaches. You’ll support clients in choosing the most suitable business solution and take part in implementations of SAP systems in Record to Report areas.

Your key responsibilities

1. You’ll help clients successfully go through IT transformations to implement new solutions offered by SAP, i.e.: S/4Hana, Central Finance, VIM, FPSL, Group Reporting, Accrual Engine, RE-FX.
2. You will support clients in greenfield and brownfield implementations using various methodologies, i.e. Agile. Your responsibility will also be to manage the quality of implementation projects.

To qualify for the role, you must have

1. 3+ years of experience in SAP FICO implementation in areas such as AP, AR, GL, CO, Fixed Assets, PEC, etc.
2. AFC (Advanced Financial Closing) experience is required.
3. Experience in standard project tasks: Fit-Gap workshops, configuration, testing, documentation, training.
4. End-to-end business processes knowledge.
5. Knowledge about system enhancements.
6. Good accounting knowledge.
7. Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
8. Strive for Continuous Improvement and Growth.
9. Experience in data migration.
10. Strong teamwork skills.

Must Have skills (at least 40% from the below list):

1. Accounts Receivable
2. Accounts Payable
3. Asset Accounting
4. Product Costing
5. Statutory reporting
6. Tax
7. Treasury
8. Profitability Analysis / Management Reporting
9. Strong cross-functional understanding with PP, MM, SD.

Ideally, you’ll also have

1. SAP software solutions – Underpinned with strong functional process knowledge and an ability to contextualize technology and deliver business value.
2. Experience developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under inter-dependent project deadlines.
3. Hands-on expertise with any of the SAP Treasury core components (i.e. Cash management, Transaction manager, In-house cash, Risk analyzers, Liquidity planner, Hedge management and accounting, SWIFT integration, BCM, integration with financial accounting and other applications).
4. Experience supporting pre-sales engagements and responding to RFPs, etc.
5. German or other European language is an advantage.
