Senior SAP FI/CO Consultant with Advanced Financial Closing – EY GDS Poland, Katowice. Location: Katowice – 2 days in office / 3 days remote.

We are looking for a Senior SAP FI/CO Consultant to join our EY GDS Consulting Services team to navigate clients through IT transformation journeys by implementing cutting-edge IT solutions dedicated to large market players.

Your Opportunity

As a member of our team, you’ll extend your knowledge by working on projects with the newest technologies and approaches. You’ll support clients in choosing the most suitable business solution and participate in SAP implementations in Record to Report areas.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Help clients successfully undergo IT transformations to implement SAP solutions such as S/4HANA, Central Finance, VIM, FPSL, Group Reporting, Accrual Engine, RE-FX.
• Support greenfield and brownfield implementations using methodologies such as Agile. Manage the quality of implementation projects.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• 3+ years of experience in SAP FICO implementation in areas such as AP, AR, GL, CO, Fixed Assets, PEC, etc.
• AFC (Advanced Financial Closing) experience is required.
• Experience in standard project tasks: Fit-Gap workshops, configuration, testing, documentation, training.
• End-to-end business processes knowledge.
• Knowledge about system enhancements.
• Good accounting knowledge.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication.
• Strive for continuous improvement and growth.
• Experience in data migration.
• Good communication and strong teamwork skills.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• SAP software solutions – strong functional process knowledge and ability to contextualize technology to deliver business value
• System integration skills
• Experience developing system requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under inter-dependent project deadlines
• Hands-on expertise with SAP Treasury core components (e.g., Cash management, Transaction manager, In-house cash, Risk analyzers, Liquidity planner, Hedge management and accounting, SWIFT integration, BCM, integration with F&A and other applications)
• Experience supporting pre-sales engagements and responding to RFPs
• German or other European language is an advantage
