We are seeking a Senior SAP Administrator with proficiency in German to join our team.
This role focuses on SAP Basis operations within the SAP RISE environment, encompassing system landscape setup, interface management, change and release management, security and compliance, as well as performance optimization. The successful candidate will operate and support high-availability SAP and hybrid cloud environments, ensuring operational excellence and compliance with ITIL standards.
responsibilities :
Operate and support SAP systems across Private Cloud/On-Premise, RISE, Public Cloud/SaaS, and SAP BTP environments.
Monitor system performance and availability, coordinating complex incident resolution and escalations involving second and third-level support.
Establish and maintain ITIL-compliant operations with product and operational responsibility for SAP and cloud systems such as HANA, SAP BW, SAP LaMa, and Fujitsu Primeflex.
Manage test processes and handle incidents and problems effectively.
Install, configure, administer, and optimize SAP applications, HANA databases, operating systems, networks, and storage.
Integrate new products and systems into the existing landscape, managing lifecycle of infrastructure components.
Develop and maintain scripts and documentation related to operations and solutions.
Administer SAP NetWeaver (ABAP and JAVA), S/4HANA, Portal, FIORI Launchpad, and SAP ArchiveLink.
Perform ABAP programming and debugging as well as SAP user and HANA database administration.
Implement automation and orchestration solutions such as SAP LaMa and Automic JMS (UC4).
Maintain operating system knowledge (SLES, RedHat, Windows/Linux), scripting (shell, perl, C), SAN storage, and virtualization technologies (e.g., ESX).
Manage networking components including TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, and security mechanisms like firewalls.
Utilize SAP Solution Manager comprehensively, integrating with SAP third-level support and monitoring tools.
Use incident management tools such as BMC Remedy ARS and ServiceNow.
Apply ITIL methodologies covering incident, problem, change, release, and configuration management, complemented by Agile practices and multi-stage testing.
Oversee additional areas including operating system operation and monitoring, HANA data replication (e.g., SLT), SAP PO administration, support package and patch handling, transport management, and solution documentation.

Minimum of five years of relevant experience in senior SAP administration roles.
Mandatory proficiency in German language.
Expertise in SAP Basis technical operations including installation, configuration, administration, and tuning of ERP systems and HANA databases.
Experience with SAP NetWeaver platforms (ABAP and JAVA), S/4HANA, Portal, FIORI Launchpad, and SAP ArchiveLink.
Strong skills in ABAP programming and debugging, SAP user administration, and HANA database management.
Proficiency with automation and orchestration tools such as SAP LaMa and Automic JMS (UC4).
Solid knowledge of operating systems (SLES, RedHat, Windows/Linux), scripting languages (shell, perl, C), storage area networks, and virtualization technologies.
Understanding of networking protocols and security mechanisms including TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, and firewalls.
Comprehensive experience with SAP Solution Manager and incident management tools like BMC Remedy ARS or ServiceNow.
Familiarity with ITIL processes and Agile methodologies.
