Senior Salesforce DevOps Consultant at PwC Polska

Responsibilities
- Operate, support and continuously improve tools for continuous integration and continuous deployment.
- Deploy new application versions across development, staging and production environments.
- Manage branching, merging code and resolve merge conflicts.
- Administer and maintain Salesforce environments.
- Design and execute a successful Salesforce deployment and environment strategy.
- Automate repetitive activities in the software development cycle.
- Validate and troubleshoot production and test environments.
- Advise developers on code/configuration conflicts, configuration management and branching strategies.
- Collaborate closely with programmers, testers and administrators during release processes.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3‑4 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience working in a dynamic, cross‑functional team.
- Administration of Salesforce orgs.
- Basic knowledge of Apex, SOQL and Lightning.
- Deployment of custom code, configuration and data across Salesforce environments.
- Ability to analyze root causes of merge conflicts and deployment issues independently.
- Strong knowledge of the Salesforce Metadata API.
- Experience with at least two tools/technologies such as SFDC ANT Migration Tool, DataLoader, Salesforce DX, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, TeamCity, GitLab, Maven/Gradle, Bamboo, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines, Copado, Autorabit.
- Good knowledge of Windows and Unix‑like OSes.
- Basic knowledge of Shell/Powershell.
- Experience with YAML and version control systems (Git, SVN).
- Proficiency in English and Polish.
- Strong analytical thinking and creative problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of ETL tools.
- Experience with Mulesoft Pipelines.
- Familiarity with code‑scanning tools (PMD, CodeScan, SonarQube).
- Knowledge of APEX, LWC, Visualforce, JavaScript.
- Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
- Experience in CRM implementation projects.
- Experience with IntelliJ/WebStorm, Illuminated Cloud 2 Plug, or VSCode.
- Salesforce certifications (Admin/ PD1/App Builder).
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Jira/Confluence or similar.
