We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Sales Manager to join our dynamic renewable energy company in Poland. As a Senior Sales Manager, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with our key clients, penetrating new markets, driving business growth, maximizing customer satisfaction, and ensuring the successful implementation of our end‑to‑end renewable energy solutions. This position requires excellent communication skills, a strategic mindset, and a deep understanding of the renewable energy industry.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and maximise revenue from key accounts in the renewable energy sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision‑makers and stakeholders within client organisations.
- Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and drive cross‑selling and up‑selling activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, engineering, project management, and operations, to ensure seamless delivery of projects and exceptional customer service.
- Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Conduct regular business reviews with key clients to assess customer satisfaction, address concerns, and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals in collaboration with the sales team.
- Monitor and analyse key account metrics, such as sales performance, customer satisfaction, and profitability, and take appropriate actions to achieve targets.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, addressing their inquiries, resolving issues, and providing timely support.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop customised marketing materials and campaigns for key accounts.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote our renewable energy solutions and expand the network of potential clients.
Qualification and expertise:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience (7+ years) of business development and sales with a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in a sales‑leadership role in the renewable energy industry.
- In‑depth knowledge of the renewable energy sector, including BESS, wind and other emerging technologies.
- Demonstrated track record of building up a sales pipeline and achieving sales targets from 0 to 1, and driving business growth with limited resources.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Excellent relationship‑building and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand technical aspects of renewable energy solutions and effectively communicate them to clients.
- Self‑motivated, results‑oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proactive approach to problem‑solving and ability to handle challenging situations.
- Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
