Job Description:
Main purpose of this role is to drive, improve and develop all sales controlling related processes, systems, and projects within Ardagh Glass Packaging – Europe. This includes reporting and analysis as well as planning, and support of internal customers and product costing related activities.
Additionally, responsibilities include system improvements, automatizations in e.g. SAP-COPA, BW, SAC as well as volume analysis, coordination/steering in Intercompany Sales and Purchases.
Responsibilities
The main responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to the following:
- Active collaboration and cooperation within and outside of AGP-E Finance and Sales Teams.
- Ensure strong link to production and operations reporting.
- Ensure correct and timely analysis and reporting (daily, monthly, quarterly, yearly).
- Participate in various ad-hoc tasks as per business requirement and be the key contact for the European Sales Team.
- Coordinate and support sales volume planning (system, valuation, analysis) together with regional Sales Teams.
- Proactively seek and identify areas for overall improvements in processes, systems, and reporting to enhance cross-functional consistency and understanding.
- Participate in prioritization of projects in the areas mentioned above.
- Key role in yearly product costing and its analysis.
- Support innovative thinking and a change mindset.
- Drive ‘SAP Best Practice’, helping to align working practices across AGP-E locations by standardizing procedures and improving efficiency within SAP.
- Coordinate/ensure relevant SOX-controls are performed in time.
- Travel up to 25 – 30% is part of this role, depending on business requirements.

Education & Training
- Master or University degree in finance, controlling, or similar.
Experience
- Minimum of 10 years of experience with at least 5 years in a manufacturing business.
- Ability to plan, think strategically and work independently, while being self-driven and target-based.
- Team player with the ability to work collaboratively and effectively across the organization.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong IT/System (SAP, BW, SAC, PowerBI, MS-Office) competency.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in local languages (Dutch, Danish, Swedish, Polish, or German) and English.
- Flexible and able to organize and prioritize workload.
- Results-focused with capability in achieving performance improvement and experience leading cultural change.
- Sound people skills with the ability to establish and build effective working relationships.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proactive and detail-oriented with a controller’s mindset.
- Effective problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze data and trends and draw the right conclusions.
- Organized personality with a structured approach.
- Skilled use of business IT applications (MS Office, database systems, SAP).
